Reflections on the Water: In Memory of John Loweth

John Loweth created Mayfair Music in 1979 as a culmination of a life spent working in the music industry and built it into the successful music publishing company it is today. On April 4th 2009 John passed away after a valiant struggle with cancer. He is greatly missed by his family, friends, and colleagues in the music world. One of John's great passions was music education. As one of John Loweth's many composer friends, Debra has written this new piano solo, Reflections on the Water as an homage to John. One dollar from the sale of each copy of this piece will be donated to the John Loweth Memorial Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is given to assist with the continued music education of a gifted piano student. |
